From May 13th to 14th, the "Protecting the Earth and Protecting Biodiversity" science popularization and education event, hosted by Mt. Siguniang Nature Reserve Administration and co-organized by Sichuan Xichen Borui Biotechnology Co., Ltd., was successfully held at Mt. Siguniang. The event invited professional lecturers in the field of nature education to target students from Dawei Primary School and Mt. Siguniang Town Primary School. By combining indoor science popularization courses with outdoor nature experiences, the event deeply implanted the concept of biodiversity conservation in the hearts of the children.

The event, centered around the theme of "Discovering Sichuan • Exploring the Beauty of Mt. Siguniang's Natural Ecology", transforms abstract ecological protection concepts into tangible and sensory real-life experiences, stimulating emotional connections between young people and nature. It promotes the deepening of ecological protection awareness from the cognitive level to the emotional and behavioral levels, accumulating lasting social momentum for regional biodiversity conservation efforts.

The activity adopts a parallel approach of indoor courses and outdoor experiences. The indoor science courses, centered on biodiversity conservation and combined with the authentic local ecological environment, guide students to understand the natural ecological beauty of Mt. Siguniang and translate conservation concepts into "directly participable small conservation actions" in daily life, making knowledge actionable and relevant to life. The outdoor natural experience activities utilize the teaching philosophy and methods of natural education to guide students in deepening their understanding of the indoor course content through experiential learning. The focus of the activity is not on repeating knowledge, but on inspiring students to open their five senses, perceive nature through multiple senses, and establish emotional bonds with nature.

This event broke through the traditional didactic science popularization mode, integrating diverse natural education methods such as five-sense experience, game interaction, individual connection, and poetry reading, making ecological knowledge not only stay at the cognitive level but also integrate into physical perception and emotional memory. During the critical period of adolescent growth, deepening the connection between humans and nature through natural education will accumulate lasting social momentum for biodiversity conservation efforts in Mt. Siguniang and even broader areas, truly realizing the goal of "protecting local creatures and benefiting all things to flourish together".

The Mt. Siguniang Nature Reserve Administration will continue to deepen the integration of science popularization and nature education, constantly opening a window for young people to perceive, love, and protect nature, and contributing to the construction of a beautiful homeland where humans and nature coexist harmoniously.
