On the morning of April 23rd, Director Zhao Shun Yong presided over a symposium on outdoor activity safety. The meeting focused on core tasks such as regulating the operation of outdoor businesses in scenic spots, ensuring safety production, and improving service quality. It comprehensively reviewed current shortcomings in work and planned and deployed key tasks for the next stage.

At the meeting, Director Zhao listened to the reports from the legal representatives of various outdoor companies on the work related to the reception and flow of outdoor tourists, project pricing, and other aspects. Based on the actual development of the outdoor industry in the scenic area, he put forward three clear requirements for the subsequent development of outdoor activities: First, strengthen the safety production line. All outdoor clubs should regularly carry out professional training on high-altitude first aid knowledge, strictly regulate the use of protective equipment such as safety belts and safety ropes during mountaineering operations; strictly adhere to the bottom line of ecological protection, implement closed-loop management requirements for garbage, urge employees to actively bring garbage down the mountain, and eliminate the phenomenon of littering in the scenic area; establish a high-altitude emergency response mechanism for tourists. Once symptoms of altitude sickness are detected in tourists, they must be safely and securely transferred down the mountain immediately, while strengthening the safety protection management of outdoor guides, collaborators, and other employees. Second, enhance the overall service awareness of the industry, severely crack down on vicious competition, malicious price wars, and other behaviors that disrupt the order of the outdoor market, guide all outdoor business entities to operate in compliance and provide quality services, and comprehensively improve the outdoor service quality in the scenic area. Third, improve the long-term management mechanism of the industry, fully utilize the supervision and management functions of industry associations, accelerate the improvement of industry management regulations and rules, establish a scientific and standardized mechanism for the entry and exit of business entities, regularly carry out qualification verification and dynamic management of employees, and promote the standardized development of the outdoor industry.

Next, the scenic area will continue to intensify efforts to improve infrastructure, fully address shortcomings in safety measures and service support, and take multiple measures to promote the orderly, healthy, and high-quality development of the outdoor tourism industry in the scenic area.
