
To further standardize the outdoor service management of Mt. Siguniang, enhance the professional competence and comprehensive abilities of alpine guides (assistants), and strengthen the safety line, thereby promoting the high-quality development of mountain outdoor tourism, on April 2, 2026, the training course on improving the professional skills of alpine guides (assistants), hosted by the Mt. Siguniang Nature Reserve Administration, officially commenced.



This training is conducted in two phases, covering all 392 mountain guides (cooperators) to achieve comprehensive and systematic improvement in their professional abilities. The training is specially invited to be taught by a team of professional outdoor instructors from Chengdu Free Top. The team members possess rich practical experience and professional qualifications in mountain outdoor activities. The courses are closely related to the actual work and are structured around four major sections for systematic teaching.
1.Safety Guidelines: Emphasis will be placed on high-altitude risk prevention and control, equipment usage, high-altitude emergency response, and route safety techniques, reinforcing the "safety first" mindset.
2.Environmental Protection: Promote the concepts of high mountain ecological protection, standardized garbage disposal, and hiking with a minimal impact, guiding the practice of ecological responsibility.
3. Emergency rescue: Focus on high-altitude emergency procedures, first aid for the injured, equipment practical operation, and team collaboration to enhance emergency response capabilities.

This training aims to address the shortcomings in business skills, promote the development of alpine guiding (collaboration) teams towards professionalization, standardization, and vocationalization, effectively ensure the safety of life and property of outdoor enthusiasts and their mountaineering experience, and provide talent support for the healthy development of the outdoor tourism industry in Mt. Siguniang. Participants have expressed their intention to cherish the learning opportunity, apply what they have learned, and use more professional skills and higher-quality services to safeguard the safety of tourists and the ecological environment.
