2、Preparations for the inspection, evaluation, and acceptance of Mt. Siguniang Geopark are steadily advancing

This week, the preparations for the inspection, evaluation, and acceptance have been progressing in an orderly manner.  The working group has started the design work for the supporting document archive box.  This archive box will be used to store and organize various supporting materials required for the evaluation, including literature, photographs, charts, and various certification documents, facilitating subsequent inspection preparations.

3、The compilation of self-assessment checklist (data in Table A) is progressing in an orderly manner

This week, the working group continued to advance the collation and improvement of Table A data, focusing on research papers related to world-class geoheritages.  After screening, international papers related to the world-class geoheritages of Mt. Siguniang were collated, and preliminary scores were given to items iB.1 and iB.2.  At the same time, in-depth analysis was conducted on items iB.1 "Whether the proposed UNESCO Global Geopark's world-class geoheritages have obtained international recognition" and iB.2 "Whether international scientific and academic research has been conducted on the park's world-class geoheritages", providing a basis for subsequent data supplementation and optimization.

4、The museum cluster of Mt. Siguniang Geopark is well-designed and progressing in an orderly manner

This week, the construction of the themed pavilions in the museum cluster of Mt. Siguniang Geopark is progressing steadily, and the construction work is carried out as planned.

Ecological Theme Pavilion: The original decorations have been completely removed. In combination with the existing recessed space and openings, themed habitat display cabinets have been added, and plant and animal scenery boxes have been arranged.  Currently, the basic demolition work is underway. Once completed, the walls will be puttyed, leveled, and painted to facilitate subsequent decoration and display cabinet installation.

Geological Theme Pavilion: The construction progress of the electronic sand table continues to advance. The basic steel structure of the sand table has begun to be welded, and LED equipment has been purchased.  The exterior finish of the sand table will be made of metal plates. To ensure accuracy and detail, the decorative panels will be custom-made in the factory and transported to the site for installation simultaneously with the LED equipment.  The software development for the sand table is 70% complete, and the interactive program development has been completed. UI design and data content are still being optimized and adjusted.

Cultural and Development Theme Pavilion: The construction of the metal structure for the exhibition walls has been fully completed. The embedding of electrical wires, the embedding of fire evacuation indicator lights, the erection of wire trays, and the reservation of space for central control electrical equipment have all been completed.  The sealing of the base layer of the on-site walls has been fully completed, and all materials meet the technical parameter requirements.  Next, within ten days, we will complete the treatment of slab joints and wall leveling, and initiate the procurement of materials for ceiling plastering, floor leveling, and plastic floor laying.

All work is progressing in an orderly manner, and the next step is to lay the foundation for the construction of the museum cluster of Mt. Siguniang Geopark.
