On January 21st, the Mt. Siguniang Apply for the Unesco Global Geopark team held the first weekly meeting of January. The meeting focused on the inspection preparation plan, discussing details including inspection points, time arrangement, and personnel allocation, and formulated a specific task list to make arrangements for the next stage of work.

2、Preparations for the inspection, evaluation, and acceptance of Mt. Siguniang Geopark are steadily advancing

This week, the working group further improved the inspection route and on-site performance arrangements.  The route planning covers the core area of the park, showcasing natural and cultural features;  Sigu La Cultural Tourism City will host local characteristic performances and Guozhuang bonfire evenings, and Wori Native Chieftain Office Village will arrange Tibetan opera performances at Daping, enriching the inspection content and highlighting the unique charm of Mt. Siguniang Geopark.

3、The compilation of self-assessment checklist (data in Table A) is progressing in an orderly manner

This week, the A team organized and compiled the digital communication platform of Mt. Siguniang Geopark. The park widely disseminates geological and cultural science popularization content through official websites, Weibo, WeChat official account, Tiktok, and other social media platforms, enhancing public awareness and attention to the park. At the same time, the "Mt. Siguniang Travel" APP and the "Mt. Siguniang Exhibition" mini-program serve as convenient tools, providing tourists with travel information, exhibition guides, real-time interaction, and other services, offering higher convenience and interactivity for digital experiences.

4、The museum cluster of Mt. Siguniang Geopark is well-designed and progressing in an orderly manner

This week, the working group has completed the illustration of the distribution areas of the Jiarong Tibetan people, visually presenting their distribution characteristics.  They have also finished designing the patterns of Jiarong patterns, further highlighting their unique artistic style.  Meanwhile, based on actual needs, the working group has made corresponding adjustments and improvements to the copywriting content of the "Continuing the Legacy" exhibition area, making the exhibition content more aligned with the display objectives.

The demolition work for the Museum of Mt. Siguniang Geopark - Theme Pavilion of Culture and Development has been fully carried out, and the on-site work has been successfully completed according to the schedule. The on-site garbage has been properly cleaned up, and the materials have been safely stacked.  The next step is to shift to off-site work, mainly including software development, content layout, and construction drawing.  After the holiday, the working group will return to work on time as planned to continue to promote the implementation of the exhibition.

5、The compilation of popular science materials and foldout information is progressing in an orderly manner

This week, the initial draft of the text for the two themed folders of the geopark and museum has been completed.  The content provides a detailed introduction to the geological diversity of Mt. Siguniang Geopark, as well as the exhibition contents of the geological theme pavilion, ecological theme pavilion, outdoor theme pavilion, and cultural and development theme pavilion, showcasing its role in geological science popularization and cultural dissemination.  Currently, some science popularization schematic diagrams for the geological theme pavilion and other folders have been completed.
