On January 16th, the Mt. Siguniang Apply for the Unesco Global Geopark team held the second weekly meeting of January, which focused on discussing the "Work Plan for the Inspection Preparation of Mt. Siguniang's Application for the UNESCO Global Geopark". The working group reviewed the framework of the plan, clarified key tasks and evaluation routes, and discussed aspects such as inspection routes, display content, and material preparation. In response to possible difficulties, the working group proposed improvement suggestions and determined subsequent action steps as well as work tasks and time nodes for each stage.

二、Preparations for the inspection, evaluation, and acceptance of Mt. Siguniang Geopark are steadily progressing
This week, the preparations for the inspection, evaluation, and acceptance have been further advanced. The working group, in conjunction with the actual situation, has carefully reviewed the task list, division of work, and other aspects, and completed the "Work Plan for the Inspection of Mt. Siguniang UNESCO Global Geopark Application". At the same time, the working group has coordinated with relevant departments to ensure that all preparatory work is implemented on time.
三、The compilation of self-assessment checklist (Table A data) is progressing in an orderly manner
This week, the A-team successfully completed the collation of honorary certification documents within Mt. Siguniang Geopark, ensuring the completeness and standardization of all relevant documents. At the same time, the team supplemented the collection of scientific research papers related to the park, increasing the total number of papers from 229 to 237. Next, the team will continue to verify and classify the materials, further improving the content of the A-team's materials, and making full preparations for the evaluation and acceptance work.

四、The museum cluster of Mt. Siguniang Geopark is well-designed and progressing in an orderly manner
This week, the demolition work of the Mt. Siguniang Geopark Museum - Theme Pavilion of Culture and Development has been fully carried out. The middle wall of the photography exhibition has been removed, and the classification work of the photography exhibition and the removal of construction waste have also been successfully completed. Currently, the photography collection has been installed in the hallway of the Alai Bookstore, and adjustments and optimizations will be made according to the opinions of the leaders.

五、The compilation of popular science materials and foldout information is progressing in an orderly manner
This week, the initial drafts of the text for the foldouts on two themes, namely agricultural by-products and global development, have been completed. The foldout on agricultural by-products introduces Xiaojin apples and Xiaojin plateau roses. The foldout on global development revolves around themes such as World Environment Day, World Earth Day, World Water Day, and World Climate Change Day, elaborating on the significance of these commemorative days for environmental protection and sustainable development. Next, the working group will revise and optimize the content to ensure that the text is concise and to the point. Currently, some popular science schematic diagrams for the foldouts of the geological theme pavilion and other sections have been completed.
