Located in the middle-upper reaches of Shuangqiao Valley at an elevation of 3,500 m, this waterfall is formed in a wide valley shaped by pre-existing fold structures and further eroded by Quaternary glaciers. The waterfall, with a drop of 50m, originates from an east-side glacial hanging valley and is fed by melting snow from the mountains.
