Located on the west side of Changping Valley at an elevation of 4,575 m, this lake is irregularly oval, measuring 400 m in length and 250 m in width. The water is clear and transparent, free from pollution or odor, with the water level fluctuating between 0.5 and 1 m. The shallow areas around the lake are light green, while the center is dark green, characteristic of a typical cirque lake.
