Located on the west side of Zhuganacuo Lake in the Shuangqiao Valley, this pair of lateral moraines is a remnant of a small glacier from the last glacial period. The moraines rise approximately 2 m and extend 200 m in a north-south direction, with a ridge-like shape. The moraine material consists of gravel mixed with sand and silt, mainly granite, followed by sandstone and slate. The gravel is angular and unsorted, ranging from 0.1 to 0.3 m in diameter. Some residual granite boulders can be found between the two moraines, originating from the granite distribution area at the end of the Shuangqiao Valley, transported by glacial action during the Quaternary.
