20 km long, oriented northeast-southwest, with a dendritic trough valley that has six tributary valleys. The upper reaches are generally wider than 1.5 km, with depths exceeding 500 m; the lower reaches are typically wider than 2 km, with depths over 1000 m. The valley entrance elevation is 2935 m, and the valley end (Winter Cattle Shed) elevation is 3520 m. Numerous horn peaks stand on both sides, with modern glaciers connecting between the snow peaks.
