Standing at an elevation of 5,271 m, Yueya Snow Mountain is a pyramid-shaped horn peak located at the end of the Jiesi Valley, serving as a boundary mountain between Xiaojin and Li counties. A hanging glacier has developed on the south side of the mountain, and its name derives from its crescent moon-like appearance when viewed from the side.
