Located in Haizi Valley at an elevation of 3,830 m, this lake is elongated in a nearly north-south direction, measuring 850 m in length and 250 to 300 m in width. Originally a U-shaped glacier valley, it became a lake due to sediment accumulation blocking the valley from the east and west sides. Over time, the lake has gradually become shallower due to continuous sediment influx and has now turned into a marshland with abundant aquatic vegetation.
