Stretching approximately 40 km in length, nearly north-south oriented, with a straight trough valley generally wider than 700 m, and a maximum width over 1km. The valley depth usually exceeds 1000 m. This U-shaped valley features numerous tributary valleys, all of which are glacial hanging valleys.
