Stretching 17 km in length, nearly north-south oriented, with an arched trough valley. The upper reaches of the Flower Lake area split into two tributary valleys, with widths generally greater than 500 m and depths exceeding 300 m; the lower reaches are typically wider than 1 km, with depths exceeding 1000 m. Numerous cirque lakes have formed on both sides and at the end of Haizi Valley.
