Stretching 30 km in length, nearly north-south oriented, with a straight trough valley generally wider than 1.5 km, with a typical depth greater than 500 m and a maximum depth exceeding 1000 m. It is the geopark's densest glacial U-shaped valley, featuring numerous glacial hanging valleys along the route. Glacial erratics are scattered at the valley head, and lateral moraines remain on both sides of the valley entrance.
